Whole night long was very strong wind. We didn’t even hope to fly on next day.
In the morning I was awake cause whole bed was shaking. I thought that guys are making party again, but when I opened my eyes I realised it wasen’t possible. It was early in the morning and it was a earth quake. Marine watched as well and we looked to each other scared and wondering what to do. Luckly the earth quake finished and after some minutes we cool down and we could fall asleep again.

In the morning everybody talked excited about it. We got chance to experience Japan in full range.
Wind decrease and weatherman gave us hope to fly today. We went to the take off but unfortunately conditions wasn’t as good as was forcasted. So we spend some hours on the take off and finally the task was canceled.

Japans World Cup finished and its time to go for visiting and discover.

Wether forcast gave us hope for flying today so we went to the take off. Unfortunately wind was too strong and there was no chance for flying. Task was cancelled.

We got still whole day so we decided to go to Tokyo. It was an interesting trip and we had a lot of fun.
I will put some pictures later on.

The wind decrease today and it was decided to repeat the 2nd task - 100km. Unfortunately we were taking off in to the lee side and it was like a roulette. Some of the pilots got up, some landed just after taking off. Actually most of pilots landed down of the take off and only a some went on. Me?- I unfortunately joined the top women and landed after 6 min. flight…

News of last minute: Denis Cortela is first in the goal. 6 more pilots already in the goal. Some are still in the air.
More news later on.

Finely 8 pilots managed get the goal. Second was Karel Vrebensky, third David Ohlidal.
Keiko landed short in fron of the goal and she can be shour she is the winer woman of this event.
Anja Kroll thanks lot of lack and smart flying was not far bechinde Keiko and thanks that she avanced on
2 position in overal.

Todays results looked unusual: more then 80 pilots got 4 and less points for the task.

Today we tried to fly a 56 km task. Unfortunately the wind increase faster then expected and half of the pilots didn’t manage to take off. Task was canceled according to too strong conditions on the start. In the air was only strong wind but no turbulences so we could land safety.

Last night was the GIN party. It was a nice meeting for whole pilots.

In the mornig weather looked good. On the take off everybody was full of hope for good task. We got 101 km. Unfortunately , because of the wind it was possible to start only on very small take off so whole procedur was slow. When I managed to get in to the air, wind was already very strong. It was difficult to get to thermals and even more difficult to keep inside them to go up.
Finally I decided to go to the valley in to direction of landing over HQ. I hoped to get there something to go up if not I was in secure to land. I landed safetly and I was happy about it.
After around 15 minutes of discussion on the radio about safety of the conditions it was decided to cancel the task.
More then 20 pilots who were already in the landing have been very happy about it. We where sitting and looking to the “acro” show of others trying to get safe to the ground.

Cause of bad weather todays task was canceled.We live here in hotel with Japanese standard what means room looks like typical Japanese home. There are no showers and we wash in one bath room with 4 showers and one hot bath whole is open . It’s quite strange feeling to wash my self in presence of other women. Here you can really get in to Japanese atmosphere. I enjoy it very much.

Yesterday we got training day. It was nice flying and good opportunity to look around.

After opening ceremony last night it started to rain so everybody thought we will not fly today. But when we stood up in the morning clouds are gone and sun shine with full power. We went to the take off and got first task in this PWC season. With 5 turnpoint in the montains and goal more then 20 km of them in flats we had flown 61,4 km. Many pilots managed to get to goal me as well.

Something more about the task:
The window was open at 11 and start cylinder at 12. Take off here is very small so we where starting according to last year ranking. I didn’t fly whole PWC last year so I got a lot of time for preparation. After I took off I got thermal and it was time to go to the start cylinder. First part was quit easy cause everybody have flown almost the seam road there and back so hole thermals where market. Difficulty started after last turn point where we went to flat. We couldn’t see too far in front cause of hay humility so I dint now how are the conditions in front. In the middle of the task I foll quit low and I lost too match time to climb up again. Guys ho I sow going forward where sinking strong so I made more altitude. But then I got better line and on the end I arrived to goal on 1000 m a.s.l. Its nice feeling to get to goal in firs PWC in the season. Now I need to kip on going this way and get the goal when is only possible.
