Second week I’m back home. After so much traveling around this year I decided to take a small break. Actually my plan was to take part in pre-PWC on Istria. I quit this idea because I’m so tired that I can’t imagine driving a car for more than 1000 km alone and what’s more important I need to study.

I really hope we will have some good weather in Poland so I will have a chance to make some nice flights for XC Comp. We will see. I’m looking forward to fly in Poland again. Flatland flying in Australia made me missing it. So girls and guys maybe see you under the sky of Mazowsze.

Today we got 2nd task. There was 81 km to do. The winner of the day is Janusz Fuzowski my team college. About the rest I don’t now yet. I will pout more news tomorrow.

Something more about the task.
On beginning the day looked perfect. Not too many clouds, no overdevelopment just perfect. As I already wrote there was decided to fly 81 km that is quit a long task as for the last day of the competition. Normally it wouldn’t be so difficult to fly it. I done it here for so many times already that I didn’t thought it can finish so sucks. After start cylinder we where about to cross Pieve valley. Normally you do go even low on Mt. Serva and you soar up then thermal and you go further on. This time we hit strong had wind and it wasn’t normal. There was not only usual valley wind we hit one more over regional wind. If it wouldn’t be enough clouds covered the sky and thermals stopped. Only fauve people went on. 90 % landed over our meting point: Supermarket. I was weary disappointed.

After 3 ours of waiting I finely get back to camping.

For results we waited till 23. Organizers got problems with computer, then with many protests. Finely we got quick price giving ceremony and we droved back home to Poland.

After 5 day’s without flying we finely got a task. There was 61 km to fly. Only 4 pilot’s managed to get the goal. First was Nikolay Shorohov. I after racing hole the way landed some km short of goal. Unfortunately there was strong wind in the valley and we got wasn’t down. I think I was 3 today, but I still wait for the results.

After hole evening spend on fixing my glider and rescue came another day and we got next task of 45 km. Beginning of the race was quit fast but after we needed to slow down. Last group where only girls. 10 km to the goal I decided to run them away and it was good idea. I get goal as 4. I was so happy. It was nice flight after yesterday and it was great flight.

The task planed for today seamed to be creasy. We where supposed to fly 104 km. After the take of conditions where so good that to get the goal it seemed to be pies of cake. I managed to be hay in start cylinder and after I stay in front. First part of the task follow for 35 km big rocky cliff and then we where supposed to fly thru some flat and get to another mountains. It was everything ok until I didn’t sow my wing under my fits. After I got big cravat and I started to rotate and trough the rescue. I landed safe under the mountain. I paced the toy’s and went down to the mean rode. After some minutes the retrieval car picked me up. After some minutes came Samy with another car. He crashed near to me but he didn’t thru rescue. It’s so shame of so nice day. After hole I lost hole chance for podium and I landed on 10 position in overall. But I’m ok and the game is not over. Next editions are waiting for me.

Organisation decided for us to go to Organia. I was so happy to have opportunity to meet my acro friends there. I was promising so often I will visit them and now I have opportunity to keep my promises. The whole task with 3 turn points was 85 km. After start cylinder second turn point was long the cliff of Ager and then we where spots to jump to north and finish as I said in Organia.

Unfortunately I wasn’t lucky again and get washed down on 2nd turn point. It was difficult to climbe up from there. When I finaly managed it every body was gone. I could see the leading group far in the north. If it wasn’t bad enough clouds covered hole way and thermal activity was weak and stopped totally after some while. There was even rain on the way. I forgot my promises at home again and instead to slow down I was hurry away. I landed with 10 more pilots in the mountains over left village.

Today we got a second task for this event. It was 62 km of fast flying. First the routes went long the cliff there and back and after we jumped thru the valley to come back to the last turn point back on the cliff and straight to goal. It was an easy and fast task. Unfortunately clouds covered the valley where we where going back and it makes everything much more difficult. I made big mistake on the end and landed 4 km in front of the goal. I hope I don’t lost too much in overall cause of that.

From the morning on there was some small rain. But still it was decided to go up to the take off. Even there we got some rain. We couldn’t believe we will have a task. But we got. Elapse time. In the moment window get open sun came and it was easy to climb up. Unfortunately clouds started to develop too fast so it was decided to cancel the task. We were little bit worried about landing. But it was everything ok. It’s a pity that this overdevelopement ruins so nice flying.

Maybe next day we will have more luck.

The task was canceled because of high thunderstorm risk. Some pilots decided to fly. But on late afternoon storm came and it was raining for long time.

To Ager we arrived at late afternoon of Saturday so we got no chance to fly training day any more. Actually we didn’t loose too much. There was too much wind so only fife people managed to train.

First day started with good weather. Task of 81 km was set. It wasn’t easy flying. After some while clouds covered the sky and strong north wind get thru the mountains. It made mix of strong sink, strong thermals and hoping for a lot of luck. It took me too long to get up after the take off and I stayed alone in the air. I couldn’t get to the ridge because of strong north wind so I decided to fly more or less straight. On the way we got one narrow walleye with river on the bottom to pass. I cross it with one other Boom and we got in to big sink. That guy decided to turn back and get washed down. I decided to go further with hope I will find something. I didn’t saw any other possibility to land there accept small grass-land on the slope side. If I needed to land there I would walk for long time down. But suddenly one big bird came to me and showed me thermal. When I was on safe altitude he was gone. It happened to me 4 more times this day. I got feeling that they come just to help me and they had flown away.

After the experience with getting washed down I decided to stay high for the rest of the task. I managed it for one part of the route which got no landings. For the rest I got not so much luck and I fell low some more times. Finaly after 4 hours of fitting I landed 5 km in front of the goal. There was no more chance to get up. I was little disappointed but I couldn’t do nothing more.
