Today was planed to have short and fast task. 85 km where to fly. Unfortunetley wen I took of I sow big pice of gras in my break line wich made big knot and I wasn´t able to get it out. I decide to land under the take off. It was strong shaky day. 5 reserve where thrown. Two guys got injured and cauce one of tham crashed on the cours task was stoped and canceled after. It was good decision. With helikopter flying in area it would be too dangeurous for other pilots.

Today we got one more long task and again 114km. My goal gor today to enjoy the flight and get further than last two days. Condition of the day where waery shaky and strong. I must say I was fighting with my self to not go to land over 3 kings. Finely I managed to fly most of the task and landed 6 km short of last turn point. It was short day to fly and on late afternun conditions become weak. Only first and some people of second group got chans to get the goal.

Todays task 114 km but in fact 106,5 km. With start celinder 6 km around Penion we needed to wayt in the midle of the valley for starting the race. I made prity well on the begigning but on first turn point I got washed down and wasn´t able to climbe up again, so I landed there. It was very diapointing cause everyone went on.

Dzisiejsha konkurencjia miala dlugosc 114 km. Faktycznie do oblecenia mielismy 106 km. Cylinder startowy mial promien 6km wokol Penionu. Czekalismy zatem po srodku doliny na rozpoczecie wyscigu. Na poczatku szlo mi bardzo dobrze. Wystartowalam wysoko i z pierwsza grupa. Niestety na punkcie zwrotnym wial silny wiatr i mnie splukalo. Nie moglam sie juz wygrzebac, wiec wyladowalam. Bylo to strasznie frustrujace.

Today we got 114 km task. I took off on the end cause my ranking is too low and I didn’t wont to wayt 1,5 hour in the air, like you go when you take off in this 10 min on begining of window for hole ranked pilots. For 2,5 hour I tried to go out of Penion Valley. I didn’t sucside. Hole waley was in clouds, making shadow, so no thermals. When I was landing under the take off first pilots where reaching goal.

Dzis konkurencja o dlugosci 114 km. Wystartowalam na koncu bo mam za niski ranking i nie chcialam wisiec 1,5 godziny w powietrzy, jak kiedy startuje sie w bramce dla wszystkich. Skonczylo sie 2,5 godzinnej walce zeby wyleciec z doliny Penion. Bezskutecznie. Kiedy ladowalam na ladowisku u podnurza startu pierwsi piloci wlasnie dolatywali do mety.

Dodays task - 97,4km. There is the map:
I took off one hour before start cylinder opening. I wanted to have anought time to get on good position. We got again big start cylinder with the midle inside the valley. But today the wheren’t many thermals. So we hole stay in area of ceasy thermal. After the start I was going just in the midle of the gaggle but ovusly too much right and didn’t managed to go over plato. I gow washed down and needed to climbe up frome the bothom of the valley. When I finely was back under the cloud base I sow one gaggle going long southen hils and other much higher over 3 kings. I decided to go this way. I got high above 3 kings area and went stright to the turn point. Hole the way I got nice klimbs so aldow thete was strong face wind I could easly reach it. After that was only down wind and so nice to go. 6 km away of 3 turn point I got big sink and landed there.

Dzisial mielismy konkurencje o dlugosci km. Poostanowilam wystartowac wczesnie, zeby zajac dobra pozycje na starcie. Dzis znowu mielismy cylinder o duzym promieniu z centrum po srodku doliny. Niestety tym razem jedym aktywnym termicznie miejscem byla okolica creasy thermala. Wszyscy krecilismy sie kolo tego miejca. Po starcie bylam mniejwiecej w polowie stawki i moze troche za bardzo z prawej. Wszystcy przelecieli przez plato a mnie z Filipem z Belgii splukalo na dno doliny. Musialam znow odbudowac wysokosc. Kiedy bylam pod podstawa chmory, zobaczylam, ze jedna mniejsza grupa poleciala wzdluz gorek na poludnie i kiepsko sobie radzi. Druga, wieksza grupa, poleciala na 3 krole i tam sie juz wysoko wykrecila. Postanowilam poleciec ta droga. Na 3 krolach zrobilam wysokosc i po prostej do punktu. Mimo silnego wiatru latwo bylo do niego doleciec, gdyz mialam wiele kominow. Pozniej bylo juz z wiatrem. Szlo glatko az do 6 km przed 3 punktem. Tu trafilam w dziore w termice i 6m/s duszeniu zjechalam do ziemi.

Todays task was canceled in memory of Stefan Schmoker. Pilots went to the take of to trow flowers abough place where he died.
It´s still to sad for me to be true.

Dzisiejsza konkurencja zostala odwolana i imie pamieci po Stefanie Schmokerze. Piloci pojechali na startowisko aby rozzucic kwiaty nad miejscem gdzie zginal.
Nadal nie moge w to uwierzyc i smutek przepelnia moja dusze.

After 6 task came day of rest. Anyway we aren´t able to fly today. Dead of Stefan was so big schock for hole of us. He was very jung but talented pilot. He controlled his glider like many of us will never be able. Is second year of hes World Cup crere he managed to get on 3 place overal. And now he is gone. He was just one year jonger than I am. I still can´t belive in that what happend.

According to people who sow the accident wail flying over the read direction Penion he gor strong collapse and cravat on rage side. He managed to stabilize it. He made collapse on opposite side and tried to get cravat out. Suddenly collapsed side opened and glider spinet toward hill. He hit it and after that he managed to stabilise the glider again. Unfortunately he lost control again and hit again. After that it was over for hem.

Po 6 konkurencjach nadszedl dzin odpoczynku. Zreszta i tak nie jestesmy w stanie dzis latac. Zbyt jestesmy wstrzasniecie tym co sie wczoraj stalo. Stefan byl tylko o rok mlodszy ode mnie. Byl bardzo utalentowanym pilotem. Juz w drugim roku latania w Pucharze Swiata stanal na 3 miejscu generalki. Panowal nad glaitem jak wielu z nas pewnie nie bedzie nigdy panowc. A teraz niezyle. Nadal nie moge w to uwierzyc.

Zgodnie z doniesieniami swiatkow, po celindrze startowym lecial wzdluz grani i kiedy dolatywal do Peniona, dostal klape i krawat od stoku. Udalo mu si eustabilizowac glajta i robiac klape na drugiej stronie trzymal kierunek lotu starajac sie wyciagnac druga. Nagle zaklapiona strona sie otworzyja i wpadl w rotacje. Po 1 obrocie uderzyl w skaly, ale znow mu sie udalo wykrowadzic i ustabilizowac glajta. Nagle znow stracil panowanie i znow udezyl. To byl koniec.

Today´s task 84 km. Line to the take off worked weary good and task comity changed cylinder for beger so we where spreed on the hole take-off area. For the first time it wasn´t stressful to wait for the start.
After that we went back to take off and and on turn point behind plato of the take off. After that we went so south tru 3 kings. It was extremely hard to get there. There was strong front wind and many pilots landed in 3 kings area. I got big cravat low above the ground. Wail I was fighting with this every one gone and I stay alone. I managed to get it out and climb up, so I was back in game. After 4 turn point we went to east. Unfortunately I cached thermals lunch break and stock for 1 hour soring on the wind before thermal activity started again. After it it was easy to get the goal. 1 hour after first pilot in goal but I was there. Just after I landed sad news reached me, that we lots a friend today. Just after starting cylinder Swiss pilot Stefan Schmoker crashed and died. It´s to sad to speak about it now.

Dzisiejsza konkurencja miala dlugosc 84 km. Kolejka na start dzialala wysmienice i zmiana celindra startowego na wiekszy i w innym niz do tej pory miejscu takze. Nareszcie nie bylo tloku w powietrzu. Piloci rozlecieli sie po okolicy w poszukiwaniu najkorzystniejszego miejsca na start i w efekcie w jednym kominie nie bylo ich wiecej niz 30. Sprwilo to bezstresowa atmosfere tuz przed startem. Po starcie wrocilismy nad startowisko. Piloci wybrali dwie drogi: jedna z powrotem do grani i zdluz nijej w kierunku startu a druga po prostej przez doline. Po prostej okazalo sie szybciej i wyzej. Daloo to nam leprza pozycje dla dalszego lotu. Nastepnie lecielismy na punkt z tylu plaskowyzu. Tu tez piloci wybrali 2 drogi: jedna wzdluz grani do ¨ceasy thermala¨i po odrobieniu tam wysokosci na punkt, drudzy polecieli po prostej prosto na punkt. Mielismy szlak chmor nad soba i mysle, ze byla to krotsza i szybsza droga. Po punkcie musielismy leciec pod wiatr na 3 kroli. Niebo zaslonilo sie chmorami i nie bylo kominow, do tego wiatr byl silny i w efekcie wielu wyladowala po drodze na 3 kroli. Ja dostalam na 300 m nad ziemia kravat na 1/3 skszydla i zanim go wyszarpalam, wszystcy mi uciekli. Za to pojawilo sie sloneczko i mogla szybko odbudowac wysokosc i leciec dalej na poludnie. Po punkcie zwrotnym zrobila sie przerwa obiadowa w termice i nie pozostalo mi nic innego jak czekac na zaglu, az terma sie znow obudzi. Wialo w porywach do 25 km na godzine i wykrecenie slabych kominow konczylo sie zwianiem za gran. Po godzinie kominy znow przybraly na sile a na niebie pojawily sie piekne chmurki. Dolot do mety byl juz formalnoscia. Godzine po zwyciezcy ale jestem na mecie. Po ladowaniu otrzymuje straszna wiadomosc, ze zaraz na poczatku konkurencji rozbil sie i zginal Szwajcarski pilot Stefan Schmoker. Nie moge w to uwierzyc! Radosc zamienia sie w okropny smutek.

Today we got longest task of this comp - 114km. Actually it was les because 2 cylinders where bigger than 400m, but still it was long day for us. Here you can see where we went:

Today I decided to take off little later than normal. I didn´t wont to spend one more hour in crease start gaggle. How should I know it will end up with staying for 1 hower in the line and taking off 10 min before start cylinder opens. I was too late to go with everybody I needed to go by my self. After starting cylinder everyone went to 3 kings and I sow thay have big problem with gering up again. I decided to go more safe way through the take-off area, catch there convergence line and go faster than they to 2 turn point. It would work perfectly if I would get washed down in the lee of plato near of take off and didn´t need to climb up from the bottom again. After it was so easy. I managed to get on 8 km behind first gaggle. Unfortunately after 2 turn point valley stopped to work and it wasn´t possible for us to go further than it. 58 km for me for today. Many pilots in goal.

Dis rozlozono, jak narazie, najdluzsza konkurencje w tych zawodach - 114 km. Odejmujac pare kilometro, ze wzgledu na duze cylindry i tak mielismy kawal drogi do oblecenia. Mapa powyzej. Nik nie wiedzial jak ta trase obleciec bo nikt tego jeszcze wczesniej nie robil.
Postanowilam dzisiaj wystartowac troche pozniej, aby oszczedzic sily ktore zuzywa sie na godzine wiszenia w powietrzu z wariatami, ktorzy ciagle zalatuja droge i to w turbulentnych warukach. Skad mialam wiedziec, ze skonczy sie to godzinnym czekaniem w kolejce i startem jako ostatnia bo bramki nikt nie pilnowl i wszystcy cwaniacy przemykali sie wejsciem dla uprzywilejowanych. W efekcie wystartowalam 8 min prze otwarciem cylindra startowego a byla od niego 20 min lotu. Nie majac szansy na dogonienie zadnej z grup polecialam zupelnie inna droga. Po zaliczeniu punktu zwrotnego zamiast na 3 kroli, gdzie trzeba bylo leciec pod wiatr polecialam z wiatrem z powrotem w okolice startowiska i tam chcialam zlapac konwergencje. Niestety przy grani mnie splukalo do parteru i musialam sporo sie nagimnastykowac w turbulentnych porwanych kominach, zanim znow znalazlam sie pod chmurami. Oplacilo sie jednak, bo przed 2 punktem zwrotnym mialam strate 8 km do liderow. Chech w tym ze po punkcie trafilismy na ¨przerwe obiadowa¨ termiki i to dokladnie nad dolina. Wyladowalan po 58 km. Dzis sporo osob na mecie ale zadnej dziewczyny.
