Today it was very windy and low Cloud base. We went to Bischling take off. Task comity sated 66 km task with one turn point direction Hohe Tauern, where start cylinder was and than we where supposed to go south and further south and along Enns Valley to the goal. We where waiting first for 1 hour for window open. After they move everything for 15 min. Wind dummy, who was in the air didn’t look like moving forward too fast. It was decided to change for speed run, with 2 hour of open window and 3 km cylinder around turn point over HT, for the start and without going for 400 m cylinder we where supposed to go south. Definitely it was good to take off early. I waited a little too long looking how conditions improve and I finished under the take off. The last thermal was this one I took off in to and after only wind. So I soar up on the ridge and glide to make start cylinder. After there was only sink and I landed on official landing field.
25 pilots where in goal.
The winner of this comp is our dear friend Claudio Virgilio from Portugal. Second for 1 point was Yassen Savov from Bulgaria and third Armin Eder from Austria.

Definitely it will be interesting European Championship next year.

Dziś pogoda nie wyglądała na lotną. Wiał silny wiatr, dochodzący do 56 km/godz. na wysokości 3500 m, a podstawy chmur były niskie. Zawieziono nas na Bischling. Po długim czekaniu rozłożono konkurencje o długości 66 km na godzinę, z pierwszym punktem zwrotnym w kierunku Hoche Tauern, drugim i trzecim na południe od startowisa i później wzdłuż doliny Enns do mety. Po kolejnej godzinie czekania na otwarcie cylindra startowego ogłoszono przesunięcie czasów o 15 min. Później zmieniono konkurencję na czas indywidualny, z oknem startowym otwartym przez 2 godziny. Nie byłam pewna, czy to dobry pomysł w ogóle dziś latać, więc długo zwlekałam ze startem. Niestety za długo. Wystartowałam w ostatni dzisiejszego dnia komin w okolicy startowiska i pozostało mi tylko wyjechać na żaglu. Wiatr był naprawdę mocny. Na punk leciałam maksymalnie z prędkością 13 km/godz. Po zrobieniu startu miałam już tylko duszenie i w efekcie wylądowałam na oficjalnym lądowisku pod startem.
28 osób powiosłowało do mety.
Zwycięzca zawodów został Claudio Virgilio, o jeden punkt za nim Yassen Savov na drugim miejscu i na trzecim Armin Eder.

Myślę, że zapowiadają się interesujące Mistrzostwa Europy.

Today we went to another take off. The same one as on training day. Today was fun warning so we got sort fast task of 63 km. First we went to Dachstein and then to one mountain in Abtenau valley and to goal in Abtenau. I started good and I’m in goal. I fink it was my fastest task ever. I’m happy today.

Dziś pojechaliśmy na o samo startowisko co w dzień treningowy. Halny był zapowiedziany na dzisiaj, więc rozłożono nam krótką szybką konkurencje o długości 63 km. Najpierw mieliśmy lecieć do Dachsteinu a następnie na górkę w dolinie Abtenau i na metę w Abtenau. Dobrze wystartowałam, leciałam w miarę szybko i ogólnie jestem zadowolona. To był chyba mój najszybsza konkurencja.

In the morning there was perfectly blue sky and sunshine outside the window. We went to the take off with optimistic feelings. When we sow task board it looked to me that this is a joke. 120 km FAI triangle. We thought it is too much.
On take of was back wind and only some times thermals where changing this and we could take off. Tamager, Eichholzer and some other pilots took off to the wind side and glided on the sun side of the mountain. Some dust devils passed over gliders and raised them up.
I was lucky to catch front wind and took off without any problems. Fast I was on the cloud base, but too late to have good start for the task. Front wind came too late for me.
First we have flown to the east, toward Dachstein and further on its ridge. After the turn point we needed to change to another valley and we have flown to the west and after one little valley to the south. After back to the north toward Tenengebirge and after flying about them we got to goal.
It was strong day and I was flying slowly and care fully. I happy to be in goal even if late. I’m so tiered. I have flown almost 7 hours.

Rano za oknem było idealnie niebieskie niebo i słońce. Pełni entuzjazmu pojechaliśmy na górę. Miny nam trochę zrzedły kiedy na tablicy zobaczyliśmy 120 km trójkąt FAI do oblecenia. Na początku wydało mi się to szalonym pomysłem. Dzień okazał się jednak bardzo dobry. Najpierw polecieliśmy na wschód w stronę Dachsteinu, następnie wzdłuż jego południowej ściany dalej na wschód. Po zrobieniu punktu zwrotnego powrót na zachód i przeskok do następnej doliny na południe. 3 punkt zwrotny znajdował się w małej dolince na południe. Po punkcie powrót na północ i po przeskoczeniu nad Wysokimi Taurami meta.
Dzień wył mocny i leciałam pomału i ostrożnie. Cieszę się, że doleciałam na metę. Zmęczoną strasznie, bo blisko 7 godzin w powietrzu.

We are here in Abtenau for pre European Championship, it is Austian Championship as well.
During training day we needed to pay to go up to the take off (11 euro) so we decided to walk up. In 1:15 we where on the top. It was good training. On … you can take off on 3 sides. South is small and tricky. South east big and comfortable, but works later during the day. Today where good but turbulent conditions. Some guys made nice flights toward Dachstein and back to Abtenau.

Jesteśmy obecnie w Abtenau na przed Mistrzostwach Europy. W trakcie tych zawodów rozegrane zostaną także Mistrzostwa Austrii.
Podczas dnia treningowego musieliśmy sami płacić za wyjazd na górę(11 euro), więc postanowiliśmy pójść na piechotę. (glajty pojechały wyciągiem). Wyszliśmy w 1:15. Dobry trening.
Warunki dziś były bardzo dobre ale turbulentne. Niektórzy zrobili przeloty do Dachsteinu i z powrotem do Abtenau.

Day 1
We have a task of 62 km After the start i wasn’t lucky and didn’t find a thermal. After 15 min I was on the ground. It was 20 min before opening of the start cylinder. I was disappointed but not angry. I didn’t manage to pack my glider when other pilot came to landing field.

Dziś mieliśmy konkurencje o długości 62 km Zaraz po starcie nie znalazłam żadnego noszenia i po 15 min byłam na ziemi. A to wszystko 20 min przed otwarciem cylindra startowego. Byłam trochę rozczarowana ale nie zła. Po kilku minutach na lądowisko przyjechał Walter i razem mogliśmy pośmiać się nad naszym losem.

Day 2
Today we hale big task of 72 km. We go to Feltre valley almost to the Mis Lace and back to the goal in Feltre. Conditions are great in Levico Valley but when we cross direction Feltre cloud base goes lower and lower and it becomes dark. I’m a little afraid about it but clouds aren’t sucking much so I kip on going. Over last turn point we hit rain and after some conversations between pilots and met director task is stopped. In between only one pilot managed to get to the goal.

Dziś mieliśmy długą, 72 km. konkurencje do doliny Feltre. Lecimy prawie do jeziora Mis. Później wracamy do Feltre, gdzie mamy metę. W dolinie Levico warunki są świetne, ale im bardziej zbliżamy się do Feltre robi się coraz gorzej. Podstawa chmur jest coraz niżej, a noszenia coraz słabsze. Do tego podstawy są bardzo ciemne. Mam obawy co do rozwoju chmur, ale prawie nie ciągną więc na razie nie ma się czym martwić. W okolicach ostatniego punktu zwrotnego zaczyna padać i po dłuższej rozmowie pilotów z kierownikiem zawodów konkurencja zostaje zatrzymana. W tym czasie tylko jeden pilot doleciał do mety.

Day 3
Task was cancelled due to the strong wind
Konkurencja odwołana ze względu na silny wiatr.

Day 4
With strong covered sky and weak thermals we got 58 km task. No body got to the goal.

Dziś od rana pełne pokrycie. Nie widać, żeby występowała jakaś aktywność termiczna. Rozkładają konkurencję o długości 58 km. Nikt nie dolatuje na metę.

Day 5
Today’s day luck peaty much the seam like yesterday. It was decided for 63 km task. On the beginning conditions improve and we can easily reach the cloud base. With the time sky covered back and we need to fight for each meter. I managed to get the goal. There is not more than 30 pilots so I’m super happy.
It look like we won’t fly tomorrow so probably this is the last flying day.

Dziś wygląda podobnie jak wczoraj. Tyle, że górą gęsty cirrus a pod nim widać małe chmury konwekcyjne. Rozkładają 63 km. Konkurencję. Na początku robi się super. Wyjeżdżamy błyskawicznie pod niskie podstawy i ruszamy w trasę. Po dłuższej chwili robi się jedna całkiem ciemno i snów trzeba walczyć o każdy metr wysokości. Udaje mi się dolecieć do mety. Jest nas tu niewielu więc szczególnie się cieszę.
Wygląda na to, że jutro nie latamy więc dziś była ostatnia konkurencja.
