Cause one of the tasks this weak wasn’t valid for overall of this year PWC tour we have one more task today. It was 7 task this weak. It would be fantastic news that we have 7 task in 7 days, if this task’s wouldn’t be so bad flying for me. So today’s task was 55 km thru one turn point direction to the beach. On first part I got low and lost the gaggle so I went by my self and managed to get to the goal. I did remember this task from previous PWC here. It was weary much help fool for me. Finely we got a nice task. Winner of today was Andre Rainsford.

Jedna z konkurencji rozegranych w tym tygodniu dała zwycięzcy mniej niż 1000 punktów, więc nie była ważna dla overalla tegorocznego Pucharu Świata. Dlatego dziś mieliśmy kolejną 7 już w tym tygodniu konkurencję. Była by to fantastyczna wiadomość, ze w 7 dni mamy 7 konkurencji, gdyby nie to, że były one bardzo słabe, ze względu na warunki. Do tego szczęście mi nie dopisywało. A zatem dzisiejsza konkurencja to 55 km, przez jeden punkt zwrotny z metą w stronę oceanu. Na początku szło mi dobrze ale później się zagalopowałam i spadłam bardzo nisko w efekcie wszyscy mi uciekli i musiałam lecieć sama. Doleciałam do mety i to nie ostatnia. Dużo dało mi to, ze lecieliśmy już na tą metę podczas Pucharu rozgrywanego tu dwa lata temu i dokładnie wiedziałam na co uważać i którędy lecieć. Na koniec zawodów nareszcie poszła fajna konkurencja z wieloma osobami na mecie. Dzisiejszym zwycięzcą został Andre Rainsford.

I came here fool of motivation to win and to advance on place 3 in overall of the World Cup. Instead of that I made one of my worst result this year and lost 4 place. I don’t think I was flying bad here I just think I wasn’t lucky here. I’m not only one who lost here a good result.
Anyway we have new tour next year. We will see how it will work with the new format with new president Goran Dimiskovsky. It will be a new beginning for hole of us and new chance to show what we can.

Podsumowanie
Przyjechałam do Brazylii pełna motywacji aby wygrać te zawody I avansować na 3 miejsce generalki Pucharu Świata. Zamiast tego zrobiłam jeden z gorszych wyników w tym roku i straciłam 4 miejsce w generalce. Nie uważam żebym źle tutaj latała. Myślę, ze warunki były na tyle nieprzewidywalne, że trudno było zaplanować coś sensownego i skutecznego. Sezon jednak się zakończył, mamy zwycięzców i nie pozostaje nic innego jak czekać na nowy sezon. Zobaczymy jak to będzie z nowym dyrektorem Federacji Pucharu Świata Goranem Dimiskovskim i nowym formatem zawodów. Będzie to niewątpliwie nowy początek dla nas wszystkich.

Task 6
Today came sun again. We did hope for good task. 59 km race started. At first was nice but we new as soon we go to the flats it will be hard job to finish the task and it was. Many pilots landed around 8 km short of 4 turn point. Sky got covered by clouds. On the way to the turn point 4 and 5 one after another pilot landed. Only Jean Marc Caron managed to get to the goal. When we got to HQ bad news reached us: Renata hit 11 000 V power lines and burn her self and is in hospital. Lucky she is a live.

Dziś nareszcie wyjrzało słońce. Mieliśmy nadziej na dobrą konkurencję. Rozłożono 59 km race. Na początku warunki były dobre, ale kiedy tylko wylecieliśmy na równinę, wiedzieliśmy, że trudno będzie dokończyć konkurencję. Kominy były słabe i do tego niebo pokryło się warstwą chmur. Wielu pilotów wylądowało na 8 km przed 4 punktem zwrotnym. Kolejni siadali jeden za drugim po drodze między 4 i 5 punktem zwrotnym. Jedyny kto doleciał na metę był Francuz Jean Marc Caron. Kiedy przyjechaliśmy do biura zawodów otrzymaliśmy złą wiadomość. Renata wleciała w 11 000 V linie energetyczną i spadła z niej na ziemię. Z mocno poparzonymi nogami odwieziono ją do szpitala. Na szczęście przeżyła porażenie i upadek.

We went on the take off but everybody was asking them self what we are actually doing there. The sky was fool with clouds and even more moister came. Xavier made informative briefing about tonight’s general assembly and than suddenly weather improved and we got a short task in the valley. 48 km clock start task was to fly. On the beginning there wasn’t many thermals but after it did improved and we catch even some strong climbs. After 1 turn point clouds covered the sky again and only chance to finish the task was soaring on the rocky cliffs. I came as last in to goal 30 min before sun set. Cause of general assembly which was tonight results will be tomorrow.

Goran Dimitrovsky was chosen as a new PWCA president.

Jak co rano wyjeżdżamy na startowisku, ale wszyscy patrzą z niedowierzaniem w niebo I pytają „co my tu robimy?”. Niebo zakrywały chmury a z oddali widać było kolejne niskie zmierzające w naszą stronę. Niedługo nie widzieliśmy już nawet doliny. Xavier zrobił briefing informacyjny odn. Dzisiejszego wieczornego walnego zebrania asocjacji Pucharu Świata. Nagle pogoda zaczęła się radykalnie poprawiać. Wyłożono konkurencję po dolinie o długości 48 km i indywidualnym czasie. Na początku warunki były słabe ale z czasem poprawiły się na tyle, że znajdowaliśmy mocne noszenia. Już po zrobieniu przeze niepierwszego punktu zwrotnego, niebo znów się zasłoniło. Jedyną szansą na oblecenie konkurencji było lecenie na słabym żaglu termicznym wzdłuż grani doliny. Musze powiedzieć, ze był to niesamowita konkurencja i chociaż doleciałam ostatnia na metę, sama nie wiem jakim cudem, bo było 30 min przed zachodem słońca, byłam przeszczęśliwa.
Ze względu na dzisiejsze zebranie wyniki opublikowane zostaną dopiero jutro.

Goran Dimiskovski został wybrany nowym prezydentem Asocjacji Pucharu Świata.

In the morning the sky didn´t look much promsing. It look like there was some strong inversion. But after some wail it did clire up and first cloud apier on the sky. Only problem was wind wich was already strong in some places. At first task comite decided for 68 km task with 2 cirkules around take of area. But after some pilots where woried about strong winds and that we may fly in the lee so it was changed for 48 km task with only one thurn point and goal there where first and second day. Till first turn point it was nice flight. Finely I ws on good position on start and going good on the way by chosing good line. In front of first turn point we hit in to strong face wind and got stuck. On the turn point I was so low that I narly thought I will land up there. Lucky we managed to finde some thermal and climb up from there. When I was hight anough in my opinion I decided to go for the goal. Unfortunetley in the waley we where crossing there was so much wind that we landed one after another. Only some pilots managed to cross it and pass next ridge. Seven pilots at goal. I made over half of the task.

Finally, we had a sunny day today. The take-off had perfect wind to start. Task committee decided a 75 km task. I took off fast not to have the same problems like on last day. In the beginning, thermals were nice and smooth but after awhile it become really unpleasant for me. It was booming and it was rough. I didn´t enjoy it at whole lot, on the way it wasn´t any better. With strong wind and broken rough thermals we had a difficult job to make the course. Many people landed before first turn point, including me. I got lower and lower and couldn´t find any climbs. Many people went on further. I heard that over turn point 2 it wasn´t funny at all. I´m now back to Castelo and there are some pilots flying in the direction of goal. I saw Urban, Ogi, Simon, Jan Marc and others. I belive thay managed to get to goal.

In the morning waited for long before we went to the take off. Finely it was decided to go. On the way we got some little rain and many people where in doubt about the decision. The task was seated. 49 km more then les the seam like yesterday. After first pilots took off wind stooped and than came from back and side. It was difficult to start in this conditions on so short start. After 2 attempts I jump in to the air and lucky I have flown. After finding some small thermals I managed to get on the cloud base and try to get to pilots who took off much earlier and where already over Castelo. I sow many of them landing in town. some managed to get to next valley. Here I managed to catch some pilots from first groups. Unfortunately wind become to be so strong that it blown hole this weak thermal away. There was no sun at hole. So trying to use every bubble we went slowly foreword. Finely we didn’t managed to get out of this valley. Almost everyone landed in one place. I think 20 pilots managed to go further. One group thru the height mountains in back and one pass place we did land. We will see if this task will be valid.

After windy, rainy and weary cold days we have a task. We where supposed to fly 49,9 km. Over the take off was ruff. /when I was here for the last time it wasn’t that ruff and strong. After we left for the task conditions started to be more like normal. When we got one mountain in front of Castelo I herd terrible noise and sow one pilot without glider in free fall and one with two on them on the rescue. The other pilot throw the rescue too and they landed in the forest. I believe it did shocked many pilots that they started to fly more care fool. After Castelo become tricky. There was big shadow over the valley and every one going there where getting low. I decided to stay over Castelo and make more altitude. After I went with Franki, Ogisava, Charles and some more pilots. We where searching desperately for the thermal when Charles got idea to go to smooth steep rocky mountain faced in to wind. He began on the bottom of it and soon he was on the top. We did follow them and made our altitude back quick. After going in to next valley I sow rain coming and soon I heard on the radio that task was stopped. It’s not too good for me cause I was too much in back. But we will see. It’s only first day.

Nareszcie poszła konkurencja i w dodatku została rozegrana. Mieliśmy do oblecenia 98 km w linii prostej na południowy zachód. Miejscem które miało odsiać większość pilotów była przełęcz położona na 1600 m oddalona o jakieś 27 km od startu. Później wlatywało się do doliny położonej o jakieś 1000 m niżej niż dolin a w której do tej pory lataliśmy. Prawie całą drogę lecieliśmy z wiatrem. Było bardzo trudno się wykręcić, a tym bardziej podjąć decyzję gdzie lecieć, bo prędzej czy później wszyscy znajdowali się w kryzysowej sytuacji i wykręcali się nisko znad ziemi. Ja poleciałam środkiem doliny i okazała się to najlepsza droga. Udało mi się dołączyć do pierwszej grupy i razem polecieliśmy na przełęcz. Tam wiał silny wiatr, który zdmuchiwał wszystkie kominy, więc trzeba było znaleźć bardzo mocny, żeby się w ogóle wykręcić. O jeden komin przede mną była Ewa, Paweł, Janek i paru innych. Niestety dla nich im uciekł i wylądowali n przełęczy. My z jedna dziewczyna na Swingu i gościem na UP wgryźliśmy się w komin który okazał się wystarczający żeby przelecieć nad przełęczą. Ja poleciałam pierwsza, za mną rzuciła się tylko ta dziewczyna. Długo leciałyśmy razem. Było to bardzo dobre bo świetnie się uzupełniałyśmy. W pewnym momencie została jednak z tyłu i już mnie nie mogła dogonić. Przeskoczyłam na prawą stronę doliny i poleciałam dalej do przodu. Na 30 km przed jeziorem był tak silny boczny wiatr, że zwiało mnie przez jezioro na lewą stronę. Doleciałam jeszcze na 23 km do mety i klęknęłam na łące z krowami. Nagle wszystkie ruszyły galopem na mnie. Szybo zebrałam glajta i poszłam bliżej do krzaków, żeby nie mogły przeze mnie pobiec. One jednak dalej zmierzały w moją stronę. Zatrzymałam się zaczęłam je odstraszać. Stanęły zdziwione i gapiły się na mnie póki się pakowałam. Ponieważ cielaki zaczęły brykać, postanowiłam je pogonić żeby mi nie zniszczyły sprzętu. Krzyknęłam „krzy”, a całe stado nagle się odwróciło i zaczęło takim samym galopem, jak biegło na mnie, uciekać.

Do mety doleciało dziś 17 pilotów. Najdalej z polaków Paweł Barton (14 km przed metą), ja druga i pierwsza z dziewczyn.
