Today we got 75 km task to fly. 3 turn points where in the mountains and 3 in the flats after it we go on final glide to footboy field over Piedrahita. Already on the way to the first turn point we could observe big clouds building up in mountains in back of our ridge. I was observing in hole the way. It wasn’t moving very quick toward us so I was continuing to fly the task. I got to group with Achim Joos and we went together in to the flats. Wind up there was strong and it was difficult to get to 4 turn point. In between clouds on back overdeveloped and it did start to rain out of it. It was decided to stop the task cause of this clouds. On the end it was stopped 7 min too fast to have it valid. 30 min after I landed I herd first thunder. Just after I got home started to rain.

In the morning it looked we gona have a stabile day and little chance to make the task. After long waiting on the take off for sun coming to the face off mountain we finely took off for 98 km task. After weak beginning of the task conditions improved and thermals shouted us up to 3000 m. It was so nice flying and I was going well when I sow white cross on the landing field. I couldn’t understand way it’s canceled. There was no strong wind, nothing dangerous in the air and then I herd helicopter coming. On the ground I called my friend and had herd that there was serious accident over the take off and that the guy who crashed did dye on the place. It’s so terrible new. The most bad could come.

Today nobody thought we gona fly. Only Steve tolled us to be ready to go up so we waited. Finely it happen, we went to fly. When we got to the take off cloud base was low above us and a lot of shadows in the valley. It was obvious it will be tricky task. After the take off I went first to south-west to make one of arms of my flight in to there. I was thinking it will be bather sow. I hopped in between cloud base will go higher above pass and it will be easier to go to Avila. I was right about it but I didn’t thought I will stay alone cause of it. After the pass I went above sun spots but it didn’t work for me. I was running away of the shadow but didn’t manage and landed on 28 km away of the take off. Hole together I made 48 km. I wasn’t too happy with this result a spatially cause best flight today was 91 km. But it was enough to win the comp so it’s ok.

The day was canseled cause od too strong wind.
We went to see Salamanka.

Dzis nie latamy za wzgledu na zbyt mocny wiatr.
Pojechaliśmy pozwiedzać salamanę.

We went to the take off and window was oppened. After first pilots got in to the air it was clear conditions are too strong for flying. So the task was canseled. Only Chrigel is still in the air. In the morning there was strong wind blowing paralel to the take off. It was considered to go to an other flying side. Finely wind came from front and we went up to the take off. Window was open but in my opinion wind was still too strong to fly for hole pilots. After some wail it drop down and I took off. In the air there wherent much thermals and that I found where difikult to thermal. Finely I did landed on 10 km of the flight. Not much for today. Due to too strong wind task was stoped around 16. We will see if it will count for the comp: 10% of competitors have to fly more than 30 km.

After hole day we spend on the take off we didn’t managed to fly. Wind from south-east was too strong and it wasn’t posible to take off. The day was canseled.

Cały dzień spędziliśmy na startowisku i nie udalo nam sie polecieć. Południowo-wschodni wiatr był zbyt mocny. Konkurencja została anulowania.

It was great day to fly. Cloud base reach up to 3700m. Climbs where wide and strong. Fun killer where altitude limitation up to 3000 m. It was so pity we couldent go any higher. Without it it was easy to do more than 200 km flight. When I sow jets flying under cloud base I was happy to follow the lore and not going too high.
On the beginning of the flight it was hard to get above the take off. Generally first 20 km was hard. But after it thermals got stronger and bather and we started to fly faster. I managed to overtake some pilots and got in front of them. In one moment Chrigel came to me and we had flown some wail together. But it’s easy to imagine that it didn’t took long and I didn’t sow hem any more cause he was so furth in front of me. On the way I got a crises and went low down. I already thought I will land on small airfield in the middle of nowhere. Lucky I managed to found a weak lift and slowly started to go up. In some minutes it got stronger I I was back in game. In between some pilots came to me and we had flown together further till end of flight time. Six of us landed around 160 km away from the take off. We met after in the bar in town called Vallafranca. Between this 6 guys where 3 Polish.

After long period of waiting for the scoring, why needed to check each single flight because of airspace limitation, I’m 9 for the task. I don’t know about the overall yet.
